Kat’s Exquisite Cakes is a home based bakery ran by your’s truly, Katiria Andujar, where every item is baked fresh for your liking. Born and raised in Dorchester, Mass I am the youngest of 3 children and by the grace of God I am blessed to have a family who has fully supported my business and treated it as their own.

 

In the summer of 2014, I graduated from Madison Park Technical Vocational HS from the  Culinary Arts program and decided to begin a journey and experiment where it would lead me.

 

With a passion for cake decorating, desserts and pastries I began by offering my services at family events and parties. This gave me the opportunity to develop my skills and make this a part of my life. My purpose was to make others happy with my desserts and creations. I’ve had the privilege to work with wonderful teachers, mentors, students as well as other bakers and I’m super grateful that it all helped shape the person I am today.

 

I had the opportunity to go to college for baking and pastry where I received my Associate’s and I am now just a few steps away from receiving my bachelor’s in Culinary Management. I am grateful for my community and the city I live in. I’ve catered to so many of you and it has made me nothing but better. My goal is to become a better pastry chef, cake decorator , communicator , and person for every customer: old and new.
